1) Assistant Head of Education (Contract)
Requirements:
- Degree in Zoology / Biology / Animal Sciences
- 2 - 3 years working experience in the related field
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for graphic designing
- Excellent communication and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to work with all levels of visitors especially children
- Able to multi-task and good public speaking skills
- Basic Salary between RM2,800 – RM3,000
Responsibilities:
To educate zoo visitor on the importance of wildlife conservation through the following:
- Conduct and organize tours, talks, events, seminars and training for all levels of visitors
- Create suitable worksheet, educational games and interactive sessions for visitors
- Manage zoo’s volunteer programme
- In charge of producing printed materials and signs around the zoo
2) Admin Executive / Officer (Contract)
Requirements:
- Degree in Office Management Technology or other related discipline
- Preferably 1 - 2 years working experience
- Diligent, posses good work attitude and interpersonal skills. Able to work as a team
- Detail in work
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office programmes
- Posses good writing and verbal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Willing to work on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays
Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be responsible to assist Head of Admin in handling the day to day administrative duties.
3) Corporate Communications Officer / Executive (Contract)
Requirements:
- Degree in Mass Communications, Social Science or other related discipline
- Experience in Media or Public Relations will be an added advantage
- Posses good writing and verbal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
- Basic Salary between RM1,800 – RM2,000 ( depending on experience )
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in all liaison / communications matters of the organization which include liaising with government authorities and handling of all public relations matters.
4) Graphic Designer (Contract)
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma in graphics, multimedia, advertising/media or equivalent
- Preferred skill(s): Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, HTML, Sound Forge, Adobe Image Ready, Microsoft Office
- Able to multi-task and work with all levels of people
- Age below 25 years old
- Good communication and written skills in English
- Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply
- Team player, ability to work within tight deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Building creative and functional websites
- Developing web sites using current standards of HTML
- Design, maintain and updates website
- Applying visual, interaction and usability design principles (graphics and animation)
5) General Worker (Contract)
Requirements:
- PMR level and above
- Age below 25 years old
- Good communication and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia
- Preferably from rural background and / or preference to outdoor-type work
- Physically fit and able to work as a team
Responsibilities:
- To feed the animals
- To clean the enclosure and dispose of animal droppings
- To implement enrichment programs for the animals
- To treat visitors with courtesy and to provide necessary assistance
- Basic salary RM650.00
